The Clint Mobile App was Ameriprise Financial’s first offering of a mobile application to their clients. The application was offered on iOS, Android, and Blackberry. The technology stack included a MEAP based on C#/.NET which reached each of their targeted platforms from a 100% shared C# codebase. The Mobile Enterprise Application Platform utilized ASP.NET and Microsoft’s IIS Server technology stack, along with native app rendering engines and an “always connected” architecture.
My contributions:
As part of my role at Ameriprise I lead several teams working asynchronous development paths on the company’s flagship client facing application. Each team was updating the app with a new feature set such as Market News, Advisor interactions, and security enhancements such as multi-factor authentication.
