The SynergyPlus+ project consisted of an N’Vision Clinician Programmer, an InterStim Patient Programmer, and an InterStim II implantable neurostimulator. When implanted into the human body the neurostimulator provides patients with relief for chronic pain, spastic movement disorders, and other persistent symptoms.
My contributions:
I went heads-down and played my small part in the engineering effort of Medtronic’s “Trilogy project”. The development team was very large. My focus was on the Patient programmer, writing C++ code to facilitate wireless programming of the Patient device to the Clinical programmer. In addition, I wrote code from writing the therapy to the neurostimulator.
